Edit: changed the title so as not to be misleading to [b]Tripping the Rift[/b] fans. No naked pinups of the [i]character[/i] Six of One there! It’s an account of the Village tactics of the [i]club[/i] Six of One such as covert taping of members, limiting socialising to approved circles and trying to crush independent Prisoner events, among other things, supported by Six of One’s leaders’ own letters and publications. Yikes!
Also, they just added a copy of the entire “Yellow Document” I’ve been hearing about but had never seen if you want a lesson in Newspeak.

WOW!! Thank heavens I never joined the society earlier this year when I found out about it!!
Sounds like the problems we had in STARFLEET International many years back, but at least in SFI we get to VOTE in (or out) the head of the organization.

Talk about life imitating art! 😯 I have to disagree with the line at the bottom of the page that said Six of One didn’t get the principles of The Prisoner. I think they are following the Village model with frightening precision. Let’s hope the editor hasn’t got stock in Goodyear, or the Rover may become a reality. 😯
The Prisoner Appreciation Society was the first website I came across back when I first started watching the show. My husband and I had though of becoming members, but now I’m glad we didn’t. I think I’ll stick to our friendly, unobtrusive little Village here at Sadgeezer’s…
