On Wednesday 24th September at 6.30PM, Curzon Mayfair London, there will be a very unique presentation by London’s top post production companies, Glassworks, MPC, The Mill and Red.

They will be presenting their work such as movies like Harry Potter and Tomb Raider II, and commercials like Levi’s Twist and explaining how these effects were achieved.

Tickets are £10 but I am offering them on a buy one get one free basis!

Call 020 7434 2651 and ask for Bronwen!

First off, welcome to the board Bronwen (I’m assuming you are Bronwen), and I hope you will become a regular involved in many of the discussions here. It does sound like an interesting event, and one that a sci-fi community such as this one would like to be made aware of.

    Some notes:

This post has been moved from the site Announcements forum because that forum is intended for sadgeezer.com site announcements made by sadgeezer admin (see “post replies only”)

The post has been edited from being a sticky announcement because it seems you are advertising for commercial purposes, and according to The Terms of Use that is not allowed (unless you received permission first)
You explicitly agree, in using this web site or any service provided, that you shall not:

    (d) provide or use this web site and any Content or service in any commercial manner or in any manner that would involve junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of unauthorized advertising without our prior written consent…
This is your first post, and I hope it won’t be your last, and so this might be more readily seen as spammy. If you are doing this as a volunteer (are not trying to financially profit from your announcement) then I sincerely apologise. If you have permission, then I apologise once more.

Really do hope you stick around — we can always use more dedicated sadgeezers! Hope the event goes well. 😀

Be seeing you around I hope,
    Logan
