I have no idea if anyone else has heard of this song, which was made by Dutch Band “Star One” but I wondered if anyone knew of any other songs performed by Popular bands to do with sci-fi?
Here are the lyrics to the song, and if you cannot guess which show the song is about by the Bands name, then these lyrics should be a dead giveway, one popular member of this shows crew arguing with another…………btw if you like Rock it’s actually a catchy tune too
“Intergalactic Space Crusaders”
[Damian:]
We’re on our way to a prison in space
Our last flight, the final phase
I was betrayed and now I’ve been caught
As the brains of a massive fraud[Russell:]
I can’t remember, am I insane?
My mind is blank cos they emptied my brain
I will return, I will be back
I will unite us and we will attack[Damian:]
I don’t care about your plans and schemes
Don’t give a damn ’bout your righteous dreams
All that I do, I do for myself
I never cared for anyone else[Russell:]
We have to save them, we have to try
We can’t just watch while the innocent die
Let’s steal this ship and start our crusade
Powerful allies will come to our aid[Damian:]
Seven fighters[Russell:]
Navigators[Floor:]
Intergalactic space crusaders[Damian:]
Federation[Russell:]
Dictators[Floor:]
No scruples, lethal traitors[Damian:]
Outriders[Russell:]
Invaders[Floor:]
Intergalactic space crusaders[Damian:]
Domination[Russell:]
Liberators[Floor:]
Fighting to survive[Damian:]
Who on earth do you think that you are
Without me you wouldn’t get far
I’ve had enough of your private war
Why are we fighting, what is it all for?[Russell:]
To right the wrong, to fight the good fight
Living like you just wouldn’t be right
I am the leader, I have the skills
Either you leave or you yield to my will[Damian:]
Seven fighters[Russell:]
Navigators[Floor:]
Intergalactic space crusaders[Damian:]
Federation[Russell:]
Dictators[Floor:]
No scruples, lethal traitors[Damian:]
Outriders[Russell:]
Invaders[Floor:]
Intergalactic space crusaders[Damian:]
Domination[Russell:]
Liberators[Floor:]
Fighting to survive[Damian:]
I can’t believe you gave us away
Although it hurts, I will make you pay
Don’t understand, can’t figure out why
All I know, you have to die![Russell:]
Our strong bond couldn’t keep us apart
I’ve always trusted you right from the start
You’ve been deceived, they’re telling you lies
I’m still the same, I’m on your side[Damian:]
Seven fighters[Russell:]
Navigators[Floor:]
Intergalactic space crusaders[Damian:]
Federation[Russell:]
Dictators[Floor:]
No scruples, lethal traitors[Damian:]

Fighting to survive20th March 2006 at 5:28 pm #76154AnonymousInactive“Seven fighters” should pretty much do it for those only passingly familiar with the show. Anyone heard of The Magnificent Seven Space Samurai?
Okay, here are a couple of Iron Maiden songs. I hope it doesn’t prove too tough to guess which television series these songs reference. 😉
The Prisoner
On the run kill to eat
You’re starving now you’re dead on your feet
Going all the way nature’s beast
Do what I want as I pleaseRun fight to breathe it’s tough
Now you see me now you don’t
Break the walls I’m coming outNot a prisoner, I’m a free man
And my blood is my own now
Don’t care where the past was
I know where I’m going … outIf you kill me it’s self defence
If I kill you then I call it vengeance
Spit in your eye I will defy
You’ll be afraid when I call out your nameI’m not a number I’m a free man
I’ll live my life how I want to
You’d better scratch me from your black book
‘Cos I’ll run rings round you.Back in the Village
Turn the spotlights on the people,
Switch the dial and eat the worm.
Take your chances, kill the engine,
Drop your bombs and let it burn.White flags shot to ribbons,
The truce is black and burned,
Shellshock in the kitchen,
Tables overturned.CHORUS
Back in the village again,
In the village.
I’m back in the village again.Throwing dice now, rolling loaded,
I see sixes all the way.
In a black hole, and I’m spinning
As my wings get shot away.No breaks on the inside,
Paper cats and burning barns,
There’s a fox among the chickens,
And a killer in the hounds.Questions are a burden
And answers are a prison for oneself
Shellshock in the kitchen
Tables start to burn.CHORUS
But still we walk into the valley
And others try to kill the inner flame
We’re burning brighter than before
I don’t have a number, I’M A NAME!CHORUS

Wrong!…the song Spoookie posted is about the show Blakes 7
as for the Iron Maiden songs..i don’t recall what they are about right off.. but heres an easy one for people to guess….
“The Eye of Ra”
[Robert:]
Far away in outer space
A traveller from another world left his dying race
He found our planet, full of life
In the body of a little boy he could surviveAnd Ra will live forever
He gains his powers from afar
And built a gateway to the stars[Damian:]
I have finally found the key
To chart a course to the other side of the galaxy
I need to find the seventh sign
Carved into the cover stones of an ancient timeAnd Ra will live forever
He draws his powers from afar
And built a gateway to the stars[Russell:]
Unaware of our coming fate
We disappear through the ancient gate
We arrive in a desert land
And set up camp on the burning sand[Floor:]
Behold![Russell:]
A thousand slaves
Mining ores in the planet’s caves
They give us shelter from the storm
Then Ra appears in a human form[Floor:]
Ooh, up there in space
The Eye of Ra is watching over us[Russell:]
A tall ship descends from the sky
Lasers flare and many men die
A bloody battle has begun
We must destroy this ‘king of the sun’[Floor:]
Ooh, up there in space
The Eye of Ra is watching over us
Ooh, an alien race
The Eye of Ra is watching over us[Floor:]
Ooh, up there in space
The Eye of Ra is watching over us
Ooh, an alien race
The Eye of Ra is watching over us[All:]
We have found the seventh sign
Down in the catacombs
When the seven points align
They will lead us all back homeWe have found the seventh sign
Down in the catacombs
When the seven points align
They will lead us all back homeWe have found the seventh sign
Down in the catacombs
When the seven points align
They will lead us all back homeWe have found the seventh sign

Songs…. What about that one by Mike and the Mechanics?
Silent Running
Take the children and yourself and hide out in the cellar.
By now the fighting will be close at hand.
Don’t believe the church and state and everything they tell you.
Believe in me, I’m with the high command. Can you hear me?
Can you hear me running?
Can you hear me running,
can you hear me calling you?
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me running?
Can you hear me running,
can you hear me calling you? There’s a gun and ammunition just inside the doorway.
Use it only in emergency.
Better you should pray to God, the father,
and the spirit will guide you and protect you from up here. Can you hear me?
Can you hear me running?
Can you hear me running,
can you hear me calling you?
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me running?
Can you hear me running,
can you hear me calling you?Swear allegiance to the flag. Whatever flag they offer.
Never hint at what you really feel.
Teach the children quietly for someday sons and daughters,
will rise and fight while we stood still. Can you hear me?
Can you hear me running?
Can you hear me running,
can you hear me calling you?
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me running?
Can you hear me running,
can you hear me calling you?Can you hear me?
Can you hear me running?
Can you hear me running,
can you hear me calling you?Can you hear me running?
(can you hear me calling you?)
(can you hear me)
Hear me calling you.
(Can you hear me running?)Hear me running back
(Can you hear me running?)
Hear me running
Calling you, calling you.26th March 2006 at 5:02 pm #76164AnonymousInactive
Wrong!…the song Spoookie posted is about the show Blakes 7…
You might be joking around too, but… I know, I know it’s Blake’s 7. Technically I’m not wrong as I didn’t answer the question. I merely indicated that 7 is a hint and then jokingly asked another question, “Anyone heard of The Magnificent Seven Space Samurai?” Not that, to my knowledge, the Seven Samurai and the Magnificent Seven really was turned into a space opera by that name.
28th March 2006 at 10:28 pm #76174BerzerkerParticipantI’m not sure if anyone ever heard of this one song, but it’s called “The Fantastic Four” by Ray Wall Band. This song is so campy and bad that they took it off the movie album and put it right up on iTunes. So if you ever need a good chuckle, go download it.
Anyway, The Bloodhound Gang did one song on there new album in which they give nods to all there favorite Sci-Fi shows. Even piano part of the music, is just them playing the tune from the New BSG (that is played in every first 30 seconds of every episode) backwards then fowards.
“I’m The Least You Could Do”
It always sucks refolding the kind of map

Sell yourself short like bridget at the bunny ranch
Do it all fours the satisfaction of getting fouledI’m the least you could do
