Im not a big movie watcher, last time I actually went into a picture theatre, it was ’91
But, over the last week I have borrowed some flicks from a mate and have been mostly impressed so far.I saw Final Fantasy and was amazed. Not only sci-fi, but a semi decent plot and some AMAZING cgi.
Swordfish lasted 30 mins before boredom got the better of me and I killed it.
Am halfway through Pitch Black at the moment. Wow, that has some heart thudding parts in it.
What do you guys think of these flicks ?

Final Fantasy has got to be the most beautifully rendered, exquisitly animated, visually amazing worthless piece of crap every to be smeared across the silver screen! The ads for it looked astounding and I had looked forward to seeing it. I’m a computer artist and I know the golden rule of animation: the script has first priority, then animation second. In this case, they not only failed to follow this all-important rule, it was as if they put the writers in an iron maiden and dictated their agony! God, was I disappointed. Wonderful graphics cannot possibly cover up a worthless plot and irritating dialogue. It is like one big, long videogame cutscene that never ends and there’s no game control button to press and skip it. Oh wait, there’s the stop button on the VCR. I have not been able to finish watching this flick… and I’ve tried THREE times. It is, without a doubt, the Waterworld of computer animated movies. It is an atrocity that rightly failed at the box office and resulted in that production company’s abandoment of the animated movie industry. The Smurfs and the Magic Flute is a far better animated film.

Yes. Women keep breeding with them and create a dangerous world.
