In October 1997’s FH1 Magazine it was reported:

What a load of bollocks!. She was only saying that to the readers of FH1 because she knew that we were the sort to go ‘Whoa Yeah!’ (well I did anyway).
Mind you, I seem to be the only one that thinks it was all hype.
What do you think?

oh bugger18th January 2001 at 11:58 pm #58136AnonymousInactiveI was rather concerned about the ‘sleepover’ episode.. can’t remember exactly what made the hairs stand up on my neck.. but Ivonova later confirmed that she was in love with Talia. I think it was around the time she received her new uniform.
19th January 2001 at 4:42 am #58137AnonymousGuestYes Cat, I think it was a confession to Delenn (some sort of Minbari traditional mumbo jumbo).
And Absolutely Angelus! But can you see a show like Bab5 with nudity (excepting Lyta’s very descrete nudity in season 5). It could never happen, the show was sindicated. “You will never see a nipple on a US syndicated Sci Fi show”.
20th January 2001 at 9:08 pm #58138Christine CarrollParticipantI think that it was great that they were lovers, Ivanova needed some type of relationship, she didn’t have anyone, she was alone and unsure of her self…she put up a fake front in front of everyone as a person who was always in to her work with no feelings for anything else… it was great when she got to have a realtionship with someone… even if there “love” was for only one night…. I mean look at her and Marcus, they loved each other but couldn’t do anything about before Marcaus died…for her… and then consumed with grieve Ivanova leaft the station and was only seen afeww times after…
( and yes, I am also aware that her contract ran out)
just wanted my say…

“to air is human” or is it “the air is human” ?? matt Gideon “Crusade”20th January 2001 at 10:53 pm #58139AnonymousGuestwell with regards to her contract i heard
both sides as it happened at wolf359 in blackpool.
the basic’s are that they were both to stubborn to say sorry and talk to each other
i mean Claudia was in one room talking
and JMS in another room. But Claudia decided her agent should talk for her he was in the states she was 5 metres away)…and therefore the deadline passed for the contracts. It was a shame that no-one could bash their heads together and sort it out but thats the way it goes9th February 2001 at 10:48 pm #58140AnonymousGuestThis is a little silly question, but in which ep Ivanova and Talia had their “sleep over”? I must have missed that, and I thought I had seen all the eps! =( Or was it such a little thing that I might had not noticed it?
Thanks!10th February 2001 at 2:15 am #58141AnonymousInactiveWell, from what I remember.. Talia slept over at Ivonova’s for some reason (or vice-verse) and Ivonova awoke during the night to find that Talia had gone. Something happened that night, someone was attacked or killed whatever, and Talia had no alibi. Leeta does a mind probe and discovers that she had an alternative personality embedded by the PsiCorp that awakens at night and carries out tasks for them. Talia flips over permanently to the alternate personality as her cover is blown and is taken away and never seen again.
Talia was supposed to feature largely in the Shadow wars (having been given her ‘gift’ Jason), but since the actress had to leave for some reason they wrote Leeta back in (also having had her talents enhanced, this time by the Vorlons) to replace her.11th February 2001 at 8:27 pm #58142AnonymousGuestI wonder how things would have turned out if Talia hadn’t have left the show, would her relationship with Ivanova have continued (or even would it have happened at all???).
12th March 2001 at 9:43 am #58143AnonymousGuestI’m with you Sadgeezer…something about Ivanova and Talia bonking doesn’t seem right…and I’m not saying that because I’m a homophobe or anything like that.
a) Ivanova was extremely distrustful of telepaths. Sexual orientation aside, I don’t think she’d sleep with one.
b) I don’t think she’d just hop in bed with someone–anyone–that easily. There was a relationship building with Marcus for two years and they never even kissed.
c) So she said she loved Talia. So? She told Franklin she loved him in “Rising Star” when they were talking about Marcus’ death…she gave Sheridan a big hug when he came back from Zha’ha’dum…love and sex are two entirely different things. People just make a big deal out of the Talia thing cuz it’s kinky.——————
Gideon: I thought you said you don’t hold grudge.
Galen: I don’t. I have no living enemies. At all.14th April 2001 at 8:38 pm #58144AnonymousGuest

It was a Minbari Rebirthing Ceremony, if I remember correctly. They each had to give away to Delenn an item that was important to them in some way (it was when they got the new uniforms, so they all gave away their old uniforms. Poor Delenn must have a closet full of other people’s smelly old clothes! Ugh!!) and tell her something they’d never told anyone else.
Aaaaaanyway, Ivanova said that she thought she loved Talia.
As for Ivanova not liking telepaths, well I guess opposites attract. Yeah, I think they did it (c:
