The star of “Blacula” the Dracula remake spoof during the Blaxsploitation era and of “Star Trek” fame died Tuesday in Los Angeles following a long fight against Alzheimers disease.
He was also heavily involved with teaching new actors, and opening workshops.
Britons once hailed Mr. Marshall as the greatest “Othello” of his era. A great distinction considering all the brilliant actors who have followed and predated his footsteps in this role.
He will be missed.
