i’m usually pretty good at running down stuff
on the ‘net, but this has me stumped
in an interview for filmstarlexikon she says:“When I sing, it’s mainly pop musicor house-dance projects. The first single with a video video clip came out in mid-1996 under the EMI label and was then on heavy rotation on VIVA and MTV. Since last winter I’ve been writing for myself and for other bands.”
and someone who tested her contact addy said:
“Nearly a year later received 3 items in return – a signed TV Guide cover, a signed photocopy of her promo tape cover, and an insribed (& autographed) postcard of her in character with a long, wonderful personal note from her on the back!!WORTH THE WAIT!!!”
i’ve hit search engines, spiders, metas, MTVE
VIVA, german music sites…nada i really don’t want to wait a year to find
any info on her music, so i was kinda hoping
someone here might have some info or can
point me in the right direction.thx.
19th August 2001 at 5:05 am #48550FlamegrapeParticipantAudioGalaxy.Com is the new Napster. It is great! I recommend it to everyone who loved and lost Napster.
I did a search for “xenia seeberg” on AudioGalaxy.Com and found nothing.
I did a search for “seeberg” and found “Alpenoberkrainer – Am Seeberg” mp3 file. I’m trying to download it.
I did a search for “xenia” and found 88 listings for songs with german titles by an artist named “Xenia”. I’ll attempt to download as many as I can, because I bet that’s her.
19th August 2001 at 6:28 am #48551AnonymousGuestxenia was in a band called diary of dreams as a backup singer you should be able to find it on any mp3 search engine .

after i posted this thread i found xenia’s
chat where she mention’s diary of dreams &
a mention of a video for the band farmer boysand i forgot to mention that i had seen the
listings for “xenia” on audiogalaxy but i also know that there is more than one german
recording artist with the name xeniafinally on BerlinOnline.de i found mention of
her cd it’s called “Heartbeat” which seems to
confirm that at least one of the songs listed
on audio galaxy is hers also the the title
track seems to have been fairly big hit..btw – after searching for heartbeat on google
i’ve come to the conclusion that everyone in
the world has recorded a song called heartbeat except me C’Ya

I found and downloaded a song called Heartbeat by someone named Xenia. I’ve listened to it and it sounds like it could be her! I wish I could find track listings of the songs on her albums! For that matter, I wish I could read German!
Anyway, I’ve started my very own Lexx webpage today. It is simple, but functional. I’ll improve it later. But there I have posted Kai’s piano mp3s and that Heartbeat song by Xenia. Her song is in english and doesn’t sound all that bad! I like it!

31st August 2001 at 3:08 am #48555AnonymousGuestActually, I got quite a few of her songs off Napster (apologies to whoever is offended by that, but it didn’t seem available to purchase anywhere on the planet) and she goes by just plain ‘Xenia’.
The songs I have are almost all in German. Offhand (not being German)- Dvojica, Svidja Mi Se On, Divan Dan, and umm, a german cover of Shania Twain-don’t impress me much -(unless Shania is doing an english cover of her german song)…——————

31st August 2001 at 8:24 am #48557AnonymousGuestThanx Flamegrape! Just listened to the song (great song!) and can’t tell. Sounds like her only no accent.
So I am very puzzled. I know a little German, I’ll try too. Have you checked her webpage? She must have one.
31st August 2001 at 9:00 am #48558AnonymousGuestXenia was signed by EMI.
She was in a band called ‘Farmer Boys’- but only as a backup, I think.

Intalling these programs completely destroyed my internet connection. (I’m posting this message from another computer.) Thanx.
2nd September 2001 at 12:24 am #48561FlamegrapeParticipantSorry, i should clarify that. I’m only mad at myself for monkeying around with vital parts of the OS when I wasn’t prepared for major maintenance work on my ‘puter! I was planning to reformat my drive anyway. I do it about once a year and it’s been about a year. Besides, I have a very large backup hard drive for my data.
5th September 2001 at 7:53 am #48562AnonymousGuestI did a search on EMI records’ site, ww.emigroup.com
No Xenia, no Xenia Seeberg,
I think she sings in the S2&S3 sountrack
However, after hours of searching I learned that
There is a Saint Xenia
A Xenia Ohio
A Italian orchestra called Xenia -
