ParticipantFirst, I just got done watching Yo Way Yo and it was amazing. I knew it would be sad, because my viewing of it ultimately meant LEXX was trully over. I knew it was, but actually seeing the final episode made it a reality. Big congrats to the cast and crew, this was a superbly written episode, and it displayed the emotion great. Hell, I’ll admit it, Kai’s rendition of ‘Yo Way Yo’ had me crying. And that’s something no movie has done in a LONG LONG time! My feelings are mixed. More than anything I’m sad that Kai was killed off, but I’m angry that it had to end that way, and that it left so much to be desired. I was hoping for a movie, a spinoff, some sort of continuation, but now I’m not so sure. Without Kai it would just be…wrong. I was hoping there would be no true evidence of Kai’s mortality after Prince granted him life, so that if there WAS some sort of continuation, he could be included. BUT, he bled. dont get me wrong, I loved the episode, best I’ve seen, I just hate that they killed Kai, the dead one, off. But it was a trully beautiful episode, one to remember, which is what a good finale should be. Maybe if it does pick up again, Kai will return somehow, maybe as a ghost? Ehh, that sounds stupid, but I want Kai to be alive, more than 790! enough babbling from me, great episode….great series. Peace.

ParticipantI’m always preaching the idea that more movies or a spin-off could be done that didn’t feature Kai. A new show could be done featuring Stan, Xev, Prince, Priest, and Bunny.
One thing that bugged me about Kai was that there was no character development. His character development started and ended during the first five minutes of the first episode of the first season. A remarkable feat for a television show to flatly maintain the character throughout the run of the show. But for me, it was getting a little old.
It has always seemed to me that Stan and Xev were the real heroes of the show. Their characters were gradually developing throughout the series.
And we only got started with Priest and Bunny. And Prince remains an enigma. And what of the fate of the souls of the Earth, Fire, and Water systems? The mechanism of the afterlife has been destroyed.
What happens now? Anything.

ParticipantI cried not for Kai; but for LEXX the ship itself and how it interacted with Stan; IMHO Brian did some of the best acting in the whole “wad” in that last ep.
I’m sorry, I did not get as upset because as a tragic hero he was set up to be; you know he would go out like this; and Zev would get teary, etc… It was the Lexx and Stanley that really got to me. 790 is 790;
And Mr. D’s intercourse references; tsk ,tsk. makes me think Viagra is given around like Halloween candy there at SS.
Yeah, he may have been a very old bug but he was our bug. I’ll miss you LEXX.

Me too. When the Lexx said, “I’ll miss you, Stan. You were my favorite captain.” I got all choked up.
The kiss scene with Kai and Xev was heartbreaking too. Not because I felt for Kai. I felt for poor Xev.

ParticipantI too cried when both Kai & the Lexx had died; I even cried when Kai sang `Yo Way Yo’ & almost screamed when Xev screamed & Kai died. I’m really gonna miss them; especially Kai, but also Stan & Xev.
Take care & have a great Fall.Lexxians Unite,
