Yeah I liked it too. I did go and see it with the lowest of expectations though. I thought it was going to be another tomb raider but I had to go and see it and the cinema had air conditioning. The first few minutes of the film really blow me away.
I wasn’t expecting anything like that; it really felt like a horror movie.

The rest of the film was a bit more along the lines I was expecting, lots of running around with guns and shouting, but the zombies looked good and the director kept it all moving along.

A few things got to me though.
Although the music was good through out the film the bit where the stars team get into the mansion, it just sounded like someone was having a fit. I really thought it was a joke and was waiting a pay off, a one liner of something.
The zombies looked good but they didn’t do much and there was no gore!
And what was up with the Vasquez character who was acting through her eyebrows for most of the film.
