Let’s get one thing straight. The 80s Dune movie was one of the first sci-fi things I ever saw. I know it’s not as good as the book, but I watched it over and over for years before I even knew there was a book because I was too young to read. So no matter how bad that movie is in comparison to the book, I LOVE it and I will defend it to the death.
As for the 90s miniseries…I just couldn’t accept it in place of my beloved movie. Especially with what they did to the Reverend Mother and the Guildsmen…and the Fremen’s eyes!!*shudders at the memory of the stupid glowing eyes*
