I mean, people called them *gerbils* fercrissake. They were given a *cute nickname* by people. Gerbils are *cute*. Gerbils are *harmless*. Gerbils may not have the cognitive capacity to lead, but they’re just cute but dumb animals! What damage can *they* do?
Turns out they can do a *lot* of damage.
And I may be going out on a limb here, because I don’t know who’s lurking about reading the posts, and possibly peeking in on discussions (not that SciFi *cares* what people are saying about the show, so what am I worried about?), especially working where I do, but “gerbils” is not the word I’d use to describe them.
