With ads like this its no wonder why chronicle fans at scifi.com/chronicle, think lexx is senseless stupid sex humour. If they were to watch an episode they’d realize how similar their show is to lexx in terms of oddball humour.

It seems I’ve acquired a reputation on this board. [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] I just saw a preview in 1999 with a space ship and shots of robots and aliens. I figured “Hey, another [i]Star Trek[/i]-style show! I hope this one’s better than [i]Farscape[/i].”
I don’t think it was a good idea on Sci-Fi’s part to focus on the sex and weirdness. It gives the show a distorted image. Like once when I mentioned I watched [i]Lexx[/i] one of the people present (the only one who had heard of it) was shocked because she thought [i]Lexx[/i] was “soft-core porn for geeks.”
If I were to write the promotional ads they would be different.
“See all the wonders the universes have to offer.”
“Explore Earth throught the lens of Lexx.”
