If there hadn’t been a “race” on to get to the moon,it might not have happened. It took a secret(at the time) executive order from Pres. Kennedy to “beat the Russians at all costs”to get there. Only for the sake of competition! Competition is a [i]good [/i]thing in general. I just wish there was a better international system of checks and balances on this type of research.
