‘Monkey’..wow…loved that! and ‘The Water Margin’, too (which was on around the same time. DVD’s, anyone????
Classic shows- ST:TOS (ok, i’m biased…) 🙄 . anything by Gerry Anderson. Sapphire & Steel, Into the Labyrinth, Blake’s 7. i’ll have a bit more of a think, there were others i used to watch as a child, just can’t think of them at the mo. Modern classics- B5, Lexx, Farscape. Note i’m trying to go for original series, here…
Films- i’ts been described as ‘camp British sci-fi’, but i loved Life Force. i think it deserves the status. Terminator, the first Predator film… i could be here all night!!
Books…hmmmm … have read some Arthur C. Clark stuff. have got ‘The lord of the Rings’ set. haven’t got round to reading it yet…
