Cool! I still haven’t seen Kings of the Road 😳 though I’m a fan of Wim Wenders. When I can rent it I will. Speaking of Wenders, I enjoyed Until the End of the World, another road movie of his — he’s done lots of road movies, but this one has a sci-fi element to it.
Two Lane Blacktop, now there’s a real Route 66 movie! Good one!
I’ll add Mad Max and Mad Max 2 (aka The Road Warrior) to the road movie list (trailers available here). And I’ll mention Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! and She-Devils on Wheels QT Presentation. And also Jarmusch’s road movie-esque Down By Law. BTW, Robby Mueller was the cinematographer on several Wenders and Jarmush films including Until the End of the World, Kings of the Road and Down by Law.
BTW, I saw one of the stupidest, most pointless post-nuclear holocaust sci-fi road movies last night called Damnation Alley. Damn Canada’s lame Space “The Damnation” station! Just had to get that out of my system.
Oops, 😳 sorry Sad for carjacking your thread. Getting back on track, here’s the official X-Men 2 site and the ’official’ X-Men 2 fansite.
