Apologies to the US peeps
X, George W on the frontline, I can just picture it, he’d come out with one of those classic one liners which are so funny.
I heard one the other day, apparently he said something like ‘Most of our imports come from overseas’…Genius!!!
I can see the enemy dying with laughter with one of those classics, kinda like the one in the monty python sketches.
I agree that the US has been successful in avoiding trouble down the line, the Gulf War was entirely neccessary, but they should have finished Sad-man Hussain off.
The conflict in the far east (I think it was South Korea) was not looking too good, China got it’s feathers ruffled and it was looking a bit hairy for a while.
I just think that the US being part of the UN should for the best part let them decide on action, the view is to some in this country (and to some extent Europe) is that the US is gung-ho, and that the US Army is full John Rambo’s who love nothing more than getting into a big scrap with the bad guys.
I must admit there has been times that I’ve been shaking my head, wondering why the US and the UK have got involved, it must look like to China that we can impose our law on any part of the world…I think that irks China.
But the results of these foray’s have been to the benefit of both countries, yet there may come a time where China thinks enough is enough and starts something.
