this happened within a mile of where my bro works. many years ago, my Nan rented this house, and was surprised one day when somebody walked passed her on the stairs. she looked around, but could not find this woman. the next day, she described what had happened to a neighbour, and described the woman she saw. apparently it turns out that this woman was the previous owner of the property, whom my nan had never met or seen, and she had died as a result of falling down that same set of stairs..
