As an artist, I have to state right here and now that I like the Acorn covers much better. The Contender cover looks extremely tacky. It looks like they couldn’t decide on a colour scheme. It looks like the cover of a potential Lexx karaoke/party disc. I almost expect to see [url=http://www.riptaylor.com/front.html]Rip Taylor[/url] in the background throwing confetti!
BTW, I wonder what brand of plastic DVD case the UK Contender discs have. The Acorn discs use Alpha. The Koch discs use Amaray. You can tell which brand is used by looking for the name molded on the inside of the case. Amaray is written on the inside of the spine; Alpha is written on the inside of the case, beneath the disc mount. Personally, I prefer the Amaray cases for my own DVD authoring.
