🙁 Most of the people, that I have tried to turn onto Lexx, just view the program as “pornography!” In this conservative area in which I live even the “liberals”..laugh at liberal thinking!! The fact that Lexx could be more than just a T&A show is inconceivable to anyone in this area!!
I tried to have a serious literary discussion of the television show in one of my college English classes,and wound up with my English professor telling me that she really did not think that “soft porn,” belonged in an literature class!! I view the show as a modern allegory with Captain Stan as EVERYMAN,..a recognizable figure in English literature. All I got started in the class was a discussion of the size of Xev’s boobs by even bigger male boobs!!! 😡 😡 😡
