The offer from Napster is to charge a membership fee. This fee would then be paid to the record company in proportion to which files have been downloaded.
There is also an offer to the Appeal Court to enable record companies to forward a list of file names that Napster will then block from sharing. That idea is so full of holes – it’s laughable. [img]http://www.sadgeezer.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img]
