I think microbes are programmed with a universal language, which is why all the different races all use very similar slang. But it’s a question I’ve wondered about too.
I remember hearing the word “crap” more than once.
Also in some non-US version of Farscape the word “Shite” minus the “e” is used at least once by Crichton (The Locket?) instead of Dren
