Yeah that’s exactly what I mean. In a way Scorpius throughout the series tried to explain to John the only way Scarrans would accept peace was at the barrel of a gun. And he tried explaining that he kept misunderstanding him, yada, yada.
Although I did like how in the end both Scarran and Peacekeepers even still under the influence of Eidolons both scowled at Scorpius. Reminded me of that earlier line “Let them both rule and put you in a cage”
