I can confirm that Season 2 of Starhunter is currently being shot in Mississauga. The filming of several episodes has already been completed. The new season has a substantially larger cast and the sets are far more extensive, detailed and spacious than in season 1.
By the way, the name “Tulip” comes from the letters remaining from “TRANSIT UTOPIA STARLINER” on the side of the decrepid ship (the last “R” has its tail obscured, making it a “P”).
