A Closer Look at Sadgeezer Episode Ratings

Over the years of reading Saddy’s Lexx episode reviews, one can’t help but notice the large numbers he uses to rate each episode. I’ve often wondered (as you do) if Saddy simply pulls a big number out of his arse each episode, or if the ratings are actually consistent when you rank all the episodes together.

So, today I decided to find out. From best to worst, here are all the Lexx episodes Saddy has currently rated.

Fairly consistent, eh? I must admit, I was surprised. The only odd thing I noticed, is that Saddy’s most hated episode of all time (so far), Bad Carrot, is rated more than twice as high as White Trash! Not to mention Love Grows and 769. That, and Brigadoom cowers more than 2,000 points behind the critically acclaimed P4X! (?)

And what Sadgeezer rating do *I* get, for wasting time with this post? Only saddy can say.

I’ve heard that Saddy gave Bad Carrot a bonus of 10,000 points due to the amount of sodomistic imagry.

i remember a couple of guys in the effects department in halifax asking us about the rating system…as in ‘i’ve been to sadgeezer.com, wassup with the ratings?!’…i just laughed and tried to look inscrutable….
