I wonder if both species orginated both in the light universe and dark zone. Maybe the humans in the dark zone and the insects in the light zone or vice versa.

The one thing that was strange about Lexx, is that the insects didn’t leave much behind to tell us where they originated.
I mean great civilizations tend to leave artifacts and fossils and such like, the insect race seems to have left no indication of their existence in the Dark Zone or Light Zone…could it be they never originated in either and came from a parallel universe or dimension.
Or could it be that some fool on earth gave our insects nanites which made them grow to an ungodly size, nanites or some type of genetic fluid that changed them.
    Only a theory…

Well thinking back on it Stan, Xev, and Kai really haven’t been looking for the remains of the insect civilization so its unlikely they would find anything in the vastness of space by just running across it. I do however see your point and by just logic you shouldn’t have to look very hard for evidence of their civilization. I would like many others want to know more about the insects so who knows many in S4 will get a tiny glimse.
