I don’t think we’ll here anything about air-dates for a long time yet.. especially as the series hasn’t even begun filming.

right enough, Cat…have been querying others regarding even a tentative schedule but so far no soap…perhaps after the holidays the fine people at Salter will dangle a carrot before our noses…on a brighter note, the remainder of season 3 begins January 8, i’ll finally get to see k-town!

oh cat…your news is definitely a mixed bag of warm furries and cold pricklies…so starting from the top we all may have to reconsider doing the uncon in august, perhaps spring if the planners are hoping to involve the actors for a goodbye bash…the alternative being to attempt an uncon in one of the other locations where filming will take place…lots of logistical problems with schedules and such, moreover location filming appears rather hectic and not conducive to playing with fans as all the actors and crew will be tired and under the gun…i guess having the bridge dismantled would be another reason to get together early rather than late, especially with a possible strike…much to cogitate on cat, thanx for sharing and keep us posted as will all of us with news
Al this damn rumors!!! I almoust had an hartattack when I herd that series 4 would be the last!!!

I have heard in the fall of 2001 is when they will start showing Series 4. But I have also heard that Series 4 will take everything from a year to 2002 to finish filming. So I question the reliability of my sources.

As you know, we are about to start shooting a cycle of 24 episodes. In a normal TV season, there are 13, so that’s almost two seasons’ worth. We won’t have this cycle finished until spring 2002 — an impossibly distant future. Whether there will be more Lexx after that depends on many factors, including ratings, network support, finances, international sales, cast and crew availability, the lay of the chicken guts, and other misty augers… In other words, we’ll see! We’d certainly like to keep going — more seasons, maybe a spinoff or two, maybe even make a movie one day…But rest assured the tearing down of the bridge set has nothing at all to do with anything other than we need a new set to suit the growing bug (and various secret
plot twists).If fan support were the only decisive factor, we’d be making Lexx into the next millennium. And we’re all incredibly gratified by it. We’re heading into weird new territory for season 4, and we hope you’ll dig it.
