Ok, you may probably not want to know this, but the next step to the future has recently made quite a large leap.
I’ve mentioned that certain factors to finding a way to travel the stars are gathering at a good pace, in this case the thought of warp speed being a possibility.
Yesterday it was announced that scientists had managed to create a substantial amount of anti-matter atoms, 50,000 to be exact.
Previously, only a miniscule amount had been generated at an extreme cost and using the largest particle accelerator in the world. Although the cost has not lessened, the scientists in Switzerland managed more anti-matter atoms for the same expense as previous attempts.
The atoms themselves disintegrated almost immediately, so the only real problem is storage, once that is acheived the pieces of the warp theory should then start to take place.
We could now be looking at several years before a warp ship is tested, and it now looks almost certain that this will happen in most of our lifetimes.
