Thought I was going to post a few obscure sci-fi questions didn’t you?
Nope. Instead I’m hosting a trivia night sometime in the future and was hoping some of you could add some material (Dalektek, now would be a good time to show everyone how knowledgable everyone says you are).——————

What sort of material are you after, and how difficult should the questions be?
3rd September 2001 at 5:11 am #42631AnonymousGuestDifficulty can vary but I’d like to be able to present some real stumpers like ‘How many EMH mk1 prototypes were in the mine at the end of Voyager’s Author, Author?”

WOW! And good it is! Well done man!
I’d love to set it up as THE ULTIMATE SCI FI QUIZ and give prizes etc. What do you think Dalek?
Mind you, all I could offer would be a SadGeezer Sci Fi T shirt, mug etc. (And a few goodies to the originator 🙂

Sadgeezer: You might be able to use it. It depends if anyone here lives in Sydney, Australia or more importantly knows anyone who’ll be at the trivia night. Of course I couldn’t enter either but then again I never enter online competitions, even for prizes.
edit: Do I have to beg for the answers?

*Fantasma’s jaw drops at the awesomeness of that quiz posted above.
Holy cow! I feel.. so.. uneducated. I looked it over and a might have been able to answer a question here or two.. I think I new more answers on my *twitch twitch* Organic Chemistry exams! And I didn’t know jack there!
Excellent work on that quiz up there, but aren’t we supposed to be taught that stuff *before* we’re quizzed?
Oh wait.. I skipped that class, didn’t I?
26th September 2001 at 5:11 am #42642AnonymousGuestYou should check the answers again.
I was just going through the questions and while I don’t personally know the answers to all of them I noticed that the Relic answer was wrong as is the MI:2 one (Hypothalamus not Pituitary and Chimera not Medusa). As I said I don’t know all the answers so there could be others incorrect.26th September 2001 at 11:26 pm #42643DalekTek790ParticipantI was going to e-mail the answers, but my e-mail system wasn’t working right.
D was the answer to the old #49. I changed the question but apparently forgot to change the answer. I’ve edited the answer post now. The answer to #46 is correct, here is my verification.

I worked on it for a few minutes at a time over a period of several weeks. I myself would only get about 100 out of 111 questions right without the online research I did.
