Thought I was going to post a few obscure sci-fi questions didn’t you?

Dalektek: I prostrate myself before your Godliness.

Sadgeezer: You might be able to use it. It depends if anyone here lives in Sydney, Australia or more importantly knows anyone who’ll be at the trivia night. Of course I couldn’t enter either but then again I never enter online competitions, even for prizes.

edit: Do I have to beg for the answers?

*Fantasma’s jaw drops at the awesomeness of that quiz posted above.

Holy cow! I feel.. so.. uneducated. I looked it over and a might have been able to answer a question here or two.. I think I new more answers on my *twitch twitch* Organic Chemistry exams! And I didn’t know jack there!

Excellent work on that quiz up there, but aren’t we supposed to be taught that stuff *before* we’re quizzed?

Oh wait.. I skipped that class, didn’t I?

You should check the answers again.
I was just going through the questions and while I don’t personally know the answers to all of them I noticed that the Relic answer was wrong as is the MI:2 one (Hypothalamus not Pituitary and Chimera not Medusa). As I said I don’t know all the answers so there could be others incorrect.

I was going to e-mail the answers, but my e-mail system wasn’t working right.

D was the answer to the old #49. I changed the question but apparently forgot to change the answer. I’ve edited the answer post now. The answer to #46 is correct, here is my verification.

    From your verification

    quote
A genetically-altered cross between a human, a lizard, and a jungle cat with a taste for anything that carries a brain it can chew on. The creature, it seems, needs the hypothalamus gland to survive, and will go to any lengths to get it.
Embarrassing, non?

Oh lordy! I really am sad. I got about 75% of the answers right. I obviously have no life and I’m doomed to be a sci-fi bore for all eternity. I think I need to go and do something mindless and athletic, out in the *shudder* fresh air.

Whoa…how long did it take you to put all this together?
*imagines the time and knowledge it must take to write a quiz like that, then adds Dalek to the list of people who’s brains she is going to steal and keep in jars on her desk so they can do all her thinking for her*

I worked on it for a few minutes at a time over a period of several weeks. I myself would only get about 100 out of 111 questions right without the online research I did.
