i have a Question for all Lexxians,

after carefull consideration, i have decided that i cant deal with another season of scifi USA neglecting to advertise Lexx and/or portraying it as porno.

yesterday, while eating a bag of potato chips (sour cream & onion ) I decided that I will write a nice, to the point E-mail to Scifi channel asking them to rethink their ad campaign for the best show on TV.

i know you are all saying to yourself “heh, they will never read it neverless reply or listen to it” but i have a plan.

it worked for my Last letter to Scifi… send it dayly untill i get a reply or get blocked from their E-mail system where i then create another mail account and continue sending.

i plan on sending a letter to them regardless but i think it would have more “Umph” if i had a bunch of signatures to back myself up with.

You guys should know that i will do anything to help Lexx succeed. i have already called a radio station and “advertised” Lexx on air (www.pyroweb.org, click on the DT logo) so this is logically the next step.

if you could just E-mail me at [email protected] and website (if applicable) and include a little message to Scifi USA, it would be just great.

i thank you all in advance

Is it?! I must have missed something…

“drove the children from their chores. Handcrafted housewifes into whores. Fear of the beast is calling it near, creating what we’re hating; its only fear that is here….”

Lexx isnt porn, it is not even close!
the producers are very open concerning Sexuality (as with most foreign TV shows)
that is it. i have never seen any full frontal intercourse or anything to that nature. i know there have been some nude scenes but that is all. If you look past the sexual aspect of the show, it really has a great storyline and a cast that was born to act.

Pyroman, I feel your pain, as have many others who have already written to object to their method of advertising. Indeed, since its inception, the way Lexx is advertised has changed rather dramatically. But, rather than emailing till they blow you off, why not send hard copies? Politely and sanely written letters are much harder to ignore than the email from one person, which can be blocked. I’ve included here the address list of the SciFi folks from the Dragonfliers page. Writing letters is a powerful way to get your message heard and to vent, too. However, remember, rudeness and arrogance will get you nowhere. These are producers; always appeal to their business sense. (it’s all about the Benjamins )

I have thought about what Black Cloud said and decided to take a different approach. I have set up a Website with a place to sign the Petition. Once i get enough replies, i will send a polite Letter to Scifi asking them to goto the page to see for themselves how many people are fed up with their advertisement campaign.

    Here is the URL: http://www.geocities.com/Lexx_petition

Pleas sign and lets try to make a difference

Great idea, Pyro. I’ve already signed. But, instead of just asking them to go to the page (they probably won’t), wait until you’ve gotten sufficient replies, write your polite letter and then include your replies, with the site URL. I doubt they’ll want to read all the hard copies so then they will go to the site. Besides, it’s always so much more impressive having a lot of paperwork in front of someone; it’s so much more tangible.
