bring back ‘V’

hoping desperately that nobody realises quite how old i am… i was thinking the other day about some of the great sci fi of yesteryear, and it occured to me just how ace it would be if they made another series (or did a re-make) of ‘V’ (for you youngsters, a kicking series of the ’80s). it seemed good at the time, anyway-and let’s face it, anything’s got to be better than Andromeda.
…and while we’re at it, can we have another series of Blake’s 7, too?Hey, I like Andromeda!
But I totaly agree! The V series ended in a cliffhanger and I wish they could make another series! Or a remake!
I used to se it when I was a child! They later sended “V The Series” in sweden again, 7 or 8 years ago and I got hocked! I then got al the episodes from “V The Miniseries” and “V The Final battle” 5 years ago or so! I just loved it!
What ever happened to the V movie the planed to make at the begining of the 1990’s???
They still got the props and used some of them when they made Independence Day! (They builded from the ships)
I hope they DO bring back V!…and although i like what i’ve seen of EFC so far, as far as the “‘friendly, benevolant’ aliens not being entirely truthful about why they are here exactly” lark is concerned, “V” kicks EFC right where it hurts!!! i mean, could you imagine any of the Taelons trying to eat Hammy the hamster…don’t work, does it? I liked V too. I saw one episode, but I really liked it (of course, that episode was The Final Battle, trust my luck) and I wish they’d bring it back.
Snooklepie, how old ARE you??? Given that I’m a terrible judge of age, I’m not guessing anything about age any more.
And what’s Andromeda???? Living in Australia and having Austar does have it’s benefits, but a lot of pitfalls.
