cluster lizards?

If the cluster was originally a big hunk of silicon with a bug stuck in it, then where do cluster lizards come from? if they were brought from someplace else then why call them “cluster lizards?
Maybe they were engineered or created on the Cluster hence the name…..

Cluster Lizards are imported. They come from a desert planet.

I was wondering, remember how sweet Squish was? (the baby cluster lizard) Do you think they train them to be killers or do you think have a natural instinct to kill……
Oh, Squish was definitely on the lookout for brains as soon as he hatched! If he viewed Kai as his mother, and he wanted his brains, I’d say all new-hatched cluster lizards have the instinct to hunt.
