Let’s see here, we’ve got [i]Evolution[/i], a sci-fi comedy directed by Phil Tippett (the [i]Star Wars[/i] films, [i]Starship Troopers[/i], [i]Expedition 2[/i]) starring David Duchovny, who’s also slated to appear in the second [i]X-Files[/i] film alongside Gillian Anderson and Robert Patrick (it seems Mulder won’t stay dead [img]http://www.sadgeezer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif[/img] ).
[i]Alien: Atmosphere[/i] has Sigourney Weaver and Winona Ryder forming an uneasy alliance with “Yautja hunters” (from the [i]Predator[/i] films) to fight aliens on Earth.
The popular sci-fi novels [i]The Time Machine[/i] (Wells), [i]Ringworld[/i] (Nivin), and [i]Lensman[/i] (Smith) all have film versions coming out in the near future. Science fiction author/artist Wayne Douglas Barlowe ([i]Barlowe’s Guide to Extraterrestrials[/i], [i]Expedition[/i], [i]Babylon 5: Thirdspace[/i]) is reported to contribute his design to [i]Ringworld[/i].

but i read something about a new babylon 5 movie for the sci-fi channel…i think it was called “legend of the rangers” and it would, of course, be about our ranger pals. i might be able to come up with more specific info if anyone wants to know.——————
