Let’s see here, we’ve got Evolution, a sci-fi comedy directed by Phil Tippett (the Star Wars films, Starship Troopers, Expedition 2) starring David Duchovny, who’s also slated to appear in the second X-Files film alongside Gillian Anderson and Robert Patrick (it seems Mulder won’t stay dead
).Alien: Atmosphere has Sigourney Weaver and Winona Ryder forming an uneasy alliance with “Yautja hunters” (from the Predator films) to fight aliens on Earth.
The popular sci-fi novels The Time Machine (Wells), Ringworld (Nivin), and Lensman (Smith) all have film versions coming out in the near future. Science fiction author/artist Wayne Douglas Barlowe (Barlowe’s Guide to Extraterrestrials, Expedition, Babylon 5: Thirdspace) is reported to contribute his design to Ringworld.
And I’m not even going to start on all I’ve heard about Star Wars: Episode II.

hmm…don’t know much about the above movies(except that the guy who plays anakin as a teenager in starwars episode II is HOT!)
but i read something about a new babylon 5 movie for the sci-fi channel…i think it was called “legend of the rangers” and it would, of course, be about our ranger pals. i might be able to come up with more specific info if anyone wants to know.——————
