This episode had a lot, from the Benny Hill-style shootout to the xev/Bunny lovemaking scene. I really liked this episode. Bunny was in rare form this time, passing from being an annoying bubblehead to almost being funny.
9th March 2002 at 12:12 pm #57150AnonymousGuestThe way they left 790 behind really bugs me. With 790 being a slave to his programming, they never bothered to reset him or rebuild him like Kai did in Fire and Water. I know its just a show but it bugged me a lot.
9th March 2002 at 10:26 pm #57151AnonymousGuestI thought this one was really great, there were some great visual CGI shots (not seen since “Magic baby” really), Dr Longbore was back, the gorgeous Tina was back (and may have copped it!), Priest and Bunny were actually FUNNY for once, Xev was looking hot AND the best two bits…..Stan FINALLY got the key back and LEXX WAS BACK!!!!
For the first time in a while, I actually saw Lexx as being a living being rather than a ship.
I loved the shots of Lexx eating Holland and the creation of the Noah. Did that not look like Mantrid drones ?

10th March 2002 at 10:18 am #57154AnonymousGuestWhat do you all think about that little bug flying into the Lexx and Lexx saying, “I have a friend”…What’s with that, a mate for Lexx perhaps? I hope Bunny and the President stay on Earth now, I’m tired of her denseness and his sweating….Why can’t Prince get out of that t.v.? Is it me or has Tina packed on a few pounds?? (Boy, I’m catty tonight, sorry) I’m glad Stan has the key back, can’t wait for the game, the previews looked great! Oh, yea, one other question, Why do you think Kai insists on killing Longbore? Is it because he thinks he hurt or killed Tina and maybe Kai “felt something” for her? She certainly would have liked to “feel something” for Kai. That girl never gives up!

Because he knows Dr. Longbore is His Divine Shadow.

Seriously though ever since Kai made that deal with Prince after he killed him his state of undead isn’t so dead anymore. That was real emotion from a dead man.

10th March 2002 at 4:37 pm #57157AnonymousGuestYeah I was wondering about that. It certainly did seem like Kai was emotional, but was it because Tina was killed? Or was it because Kai is motivated most easily when it involves those who should die? Or like Dalek said what if in some odd whacky twist Longbore is HDS?
Interesting things to come…
edit: Just remembered, this isnt the first time this Series either, even Vlad noticed that Kai was far too protective of Stanley. Also I think it was just me but it really seemed as if Kai was feeling something when he saw his dead remains after Xev ate her meal. I figured it was wistfulness at the thought of having true peace but dunno.

10th March 2002 at 9:51 pm #57158AnonymousGuestI’m not sure we’re supposed to recognise Longbore as His Shadow as much as a reincarnation of the Wozzard. In both cases, The Wozzard and Longbore have surrounded themselves with such members of society that are deemed to be ugly. And whereas the Wozzard’s secret agenda was to get revenge on all beautiful women with his technology, Longbore – as the Doctor Strangelove satire, as Aleck (I think) pointed out – surrounds himself with scientists while secretly intending to leave the planet with only the cream of the beautiful young girls.
Kai has been largely motivated this season, but then that seems to be part of his character evolution; He killed Prince in “The Key” to prevent the destruction of Water, and he would have killed Priest to prevent the destruction of the Earth. He seems to be still motivated quite strongly towards acts of justice when they present themselves. And, of course, it was he who agreed to unwittingly help Longbore in the first place, and Tina who was responsible for his being able to locate and defeat Vlad.
14th March 2002 at 10:32 pm #57159AnonymousGuestDutch Treat was a very good show. Better than “Mort” and “Prime Ridge”, plus “769”. “Moss” was better. So, I’d say that 4.17 was the best show since “Bad Carrot”. Good to see Lexx again. I bet you all that we’ve not seen the last of Longbore. Did I miss anything from the Bunny/Xev get-it-on scene? When they were at it all that I saw was the Lexx going up and down and heard their moans and saw Stan and Priest listening. Did I miss anything?

I’ve been having trouble with my internet connection but I’ll try my best to fill in the details….
First of all, Xev grabbed Bunny by the shoulders, kissed her, then pulled her down to ccHJKS&%*%^(99 then Bunny grabbed Xev’s (KLL|+|_ while Stan looked on. Xev was really using her loveslave skills at peak performance when she slowly 80750hjmklnbsdbagFGVY making Bunny moan with **)(BNjbnf897 which completely suprised me since I didn’t expect that she ooUUHBHBKJBf798879723*(^% in unbelievable amounts. Wow! After Bunny got completely naked, Xev went down to )*)*)*HJlbnbjfhkjbs97(^(&^97y98 with her tongue in her JKBKBKS*(&^D986y98uoahol squealing noises with ITY*(&TGBhnkmbf7%*OR*UTS amazing set of BNdf9-0==[]]l; kept going and going and going (Y(*$)*$Ghjdkj. At this point Xev was really getting into the spirit of things and kHKGGLSI&YGihgb,kJHSD^$*$&$)OHUFGVd875$&(%$97eDCvcjhvtUTRe798=-2497-980-86&(%*)&%^&_956r8tgshavfuak6fra9786fr59afrasu cfgahfajfhafa760923y1516yu-0=opk. And then Stan snatched the key and you know the rest.
That was a scene I’ll never forget!
15th March 2002 at 4:01 am #57161AnonymousGuestI Canada, which shows pretty much everything, there was little to the scene except for some moaning and a Lexxerection shot (as in ‘The Key’). Kinda tame for Lexx but the important thing is Stan got the key back.
16th March 2002 at 9:10 pm #57162AnonymousGuestI feel SCREWED over!!! No pun intended. Did this scene really play out like that????
Canada doesn’t usually snip episodes! If they did for this one, maybe they’ve done it to others, like “Magic Baby”- which was only 42 odd minutes sans commercials…16th March 2002 at 10:55 pm #57163AnonymousGuestAccording to Patricia Zentilli, it was off camera, so down boys, down.

24th March 2002 at 6:01 am #57166AnonymousGuestI guess Lomea just wasn’t Xev’s type.
