HDS wins Awards!

Our very own HDS won three awards for costuming while at Dragon Con. He won two costume excellence awards and the ‘Best in Hall” award.
Apparently this is the first time in forever that anyone but a babe-o-lious chicky has won the ‘Best in Hall award. 😉 And the costume mafia group were impressed that he did not break charater even when answering his cell phone. 😆
Although it did make it hard to order at the Marriott Steak house when he kept cracking up our waiter with the ‘priate stix’.

You were definitely handsome & adorable in your pirate costume; as soon as I get a chance & am well rested from my trip back home, I’ll give you some pictures I took of you. Your lovely wife, Tree was also pretty in her outfit on Saturday & am very glad she wore her Xev costume. As soon as I can, I’ll be downloading my pictures from my digital camera & either this month or next, I’ll be getting my disposable camera developed so I can put them on my computer; afterwards, I’ll send you some of you & Tree. I hope you had as much fun as I had.

Well he is definately getting a bunch-o-press. I told him he needs to contact one of those look alike agencies and do a few parties before the Sparrow craze cools. Thank you! This is the second year I’ve worn that costume, and it’s always fun to play around in Pip’s persona for a few nights. 🙂
HDS – Pete was running around in a Stark costume, Harry Potter costume, and a Star Gate costume… he was kinda hard to catch whilst running around the con. 🙂
I also saw you at Live Oak but I was in the middle of a bit and couldn’t get to you, by the time it was over I couldn’t find you! I meant to say hi, but you Musketeer types disappear quickly. 🙂

You should’ve seen him last yr when he was dressed as the dead one; in fact, as soon as I get my disposable film developed (either next week or sometime soon), I’ll be putting them on my computer & I’ll show what he looked like.
