What is it you wish to talk about?
Love your name. How long you been into HHG? Horse and I live by 42. Will look back here in a couple of days to see any reply and chat.Greetings Forty-Two.
I’m also pretty new here… I spent some time in the Red Dwarf board before heading over here.
So… you and me and Monkey (and Horse, of course [no pun intended])… what can we talk about? The obvious suggestion is Hitch-Hikers. So, first and foremost, who is your favourite character? You too Monkey, and Horse, tell me the truth. We’ll make it from the first two books, shall we?
Personally, I love Marvin – but everyone does. He’s the pessimist who complains about everything that bugs everyone, but he’s everyone’s favourite. And I like Frankie and Benjy the mice.

I also like HHGTTG. My favourite characters are Slartibartfast and Arthur – probably because I also spend alot of time being confused and astonished.

I also like futurama and farscape, and of course red dwarf! My favourite character is Lister.

🙂 But McGruder wasn’t his only girlfriend, he also had another Hologram girlfriend that was even prepared to switch herself of to help him – and of course dear sweat Rachael, a girlfriend for many years…. until she got a puncture.
mind you, Yvonne McGruder is the only girlfriend he dreams about.

And as for what you wrote about caracters on H2G2, my fave is Ford, because he’s sexy in a menacing way, but not insulting or cocky.I wanted to know if you find Ace attractive, I myself don’t because he’s FAR to shure of himself and WAY to shure of his little Ace. Arnie’s uncertanty sexually and his false, almost comical bravado are 2 of the things that most attracted me to him.
Hi Nirvanah, I knew that I had to post a reply to you somewhere, but then I couldn’t find where… so finally, here I am.
Umm… I haven’t seen a lot of the episodes with Ace Rimmer in them, but my impression is that he’s far too uptight and sure of himself. He’s working with his head up his ar$e, in my opinion. And the blonde just doesn’t do anything for me… [img]images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img]
