How do I get HTML Tags when I submit news?

In the news section, I can’t seem to get the html tags right. As a result some poor moderator has to always clean up my post for me.

Can anyone help me out?

I just highlight it and click on the Link icon. I think the actual tag is <a href=”link” >text </a>

Thanks Lexxlurker, I appreciate your help.

I take it you use the WYSIWYG editor. I’ll rather do it manually and use your “<a href=”link” >text </a>” reference next time.
