    The 2004 Frelly Awards

    You’ve seen The Oscars, The Golden Globes and The Emmys, but you’ve never seen anything like The Frelly Awards! Direct from the Uncharted Territories our host Frunium Slip, Master of Entertaining Missives will be joined by his sidekick the award-winning author SabaceanBabe. You’re invited to join Scapers as they honor their fellow Scapers for their hard work and dedication over the last 12 months to the Farscape campaigns. Event scheduled for Saturday.

    The Best of ScaperOpera

    Farscape fans from around the world will unite on stage for a narrated musical performance that will be frelling fantastic! SUNDAY at the convention.

    Farscape fanfic panel (Saturday afternoon)

    JeffRabb: One half of the team that runs the annual Farscape fan fiction contest (The Sparkys).
    ScaperRed: Writer of the 2004 Sparky Awards runaway winner, “Fate’s Gamble”.
    Kernil Crash: Two time winner of “Best Author” and author of several dozen fanfics.
    Thea: Winner of the 2004 Sparky Award for Best New Writer.
    Kazbaby: Member of the ‘Dark Brigade’ forum, and also a multi-talented writer and Sparky Award recipient.
    Florida Redleg: Possibly the most active Farscape reader on the planet. He represents the ‘other side’ of fanfic: the reader.

    Costume & Talent Competition (Saturday)!

    Scapers are no doubt a talented bunch and here’s the chance to let the spotlight shine on your creative abilities as inspired by the series and its stars. Come dressed/made-up as your favorite Farscape character…. come to perform a song (filk?) or parody… let your imagination go and vie for audience applause and prizes! Forms for entry will be available at the convention. BEN BROWDER and FRANCESCA BULLER will be judging the costume
    and talent contest!

    2004 Official Farscape Convention Music Video Contest!

    Rules: up to two music videos about FARSCAPE may be submitted on VHS tape or DVD (DVD preferred). Entries are judged on the following criteria: video quality, audio quality, editing quality, inventiveness, song selection, and originality. Humorous submissions are encouraged. Entries can not be returned, and person submitting entry is granting Creation the right to play this entry in perpetuity at Creation events worldwide. Creation does not sell music videos so your entry will never be sold as a commercial product, just presented at our events. Winners will receive a $100 gift certificate good for Creation products and services worldwide (if both your entries are selected you will still be entitled to only one gift certificate). Also, Executive Producer DAVID KEMPER has asked for a copy of all the winning entries for his personal collection!! Winners will be announced and certificates awarded on site at our Burbank event; if you are not present we will mail the certificate to you so be sure to include your return address, phone number and e-mail. You may call our offices to confirm receipt of your entry but we do not announce winners until the event. All entries are due at Creation offices by Nov. 1st with no exceptions.
