KeymasterHey all…after seeing Ellen’s email address in the recent chat log, I thought I’d send her some fan mail….and I got a reply this afternoon!
Here it is:
Soren,
I am so touched that you wrote me. Love the fans of lexx . They are the best in the world.
i loved playing the wacky Queen but it was a very challenging role physically.
In answer to your question, the water was warm but outside in the fort (yes we shot in an old fort in Germany) it was musty, freezing and wet. Outside it was cold and snowing.
I had on a wetsuit that scuba divers wear and a long black wig and a shoulder piece and head dress that was so heavy i could barely move. But it looked great. Because I didn’t want to get out of the water much i started to get dizzy from the heat in there. BUt all of it helped to make Queen wackier and crazier than ever. Please email me your full name and where you live so I can add you to my newletter updates
take care
thanks again for emailing

GuestI also emailed back and forth with Ms. Dubin a little. She’s the best kind of celebrity…down to earth, friendly, and appreciative towards fans. That’s one of the great things about Lexx, most of the actors/actresses seem to be that way.

GuestI have sent/received a couple of e-mails to/from “G.G. Rota” and I think it’s so cool. She seems genuinely happy about receiveing Lexx fan mail, and I hope she will make an appearance in Halifax for UnCon 2002. Patricia “Bunny” Zentilli is also super-nice to communicate with, and Brian Downey is absolutely the nicest guy in sci-fi without a doubt, based on my UnCon 2001 experience.
So I’m very much looking forward to Halifax in July 2002!!
PS My girlfriend is joining me for this year’s UnCon – and (a la “Bunny”) she HATES being called “Bunnykins” hee hee hee hee

GuestI dont know her email. Could you ask her why she doesnt have a “I am Sci-Fi” mini-ad on The Sci-Fi Channel? Shes been in many sci-fi shows and is obviously “animated” enough to come up with something unique, just scratching my head as to why some dork like Seth Green gets a mini ad but not her.
