Sadly, I missed all the season 4 ep’s that were recently aired (I have never seen them). Watching Walpurgis Night was very confusing-I haven’t seen Kai this motivated since Mantrid.I’m heading back to read the review of the previous ep, but I’d like to know from you guys what’s going on!I know about Vlad, don’t care about spoilers, just want to know what I missed. Until last Saturday night at Dragon Con, I didn’t even know Vlad kills the Time Prophet! All this stuff is messing up where my f.f. is going! Public humiliation, eh? I suppose I deserve it. I have seen 4.14 Prime Ridge thru Yo-Way-Yo, ehmmm…with the exception of The Game…but I had a really, really good reason for missing that one Anyway, frey the forgiving has taken pity on my miserable ignorance and offered a solution. But tell me, what is it about season 4 for you? I AM REALLY, REALLY CURIOUS? T_T

Have you read Sad’s episode reviews? He’s covered all those episodes you missed.

One of the reasons I really liked the fourth season was Xev really got to shine. Today over at the Lexx.Com bboard, someone pointed out an SFX Magazine interview with Xenia Seeberg. I liked what she had to say:

    quote
Seeberg loved working on Lexx’s fourth year. “I think I had all the chances I wanted to with Xev this year,” she explains. “As soon as we saw Earth at the end of the third season, we knew that the new season would take place here. I liked that, because you can point out circumstances here on Earth even more dramatically and make fun of them. If something takes place in a totally different time, it’s much harder to connect that with anything that concerns our everyday life. I think it was the right decision to bring Lexx to Earth – we knew that we were not keeping the series in outer space forever.”
I really enjoyed the all-out sillyness of season four. And I appreciated the metaphysical explaination of why there are so many awful people on planet Earth. And I especially enjoyed the criticisms of the American way of life. Prime Ridge is a prime example!

If you’re mystified with Kai’s motivation, wait until you see 4.09 Fluffdaddy!

Actually you wont need to wait till Fluff Daddy.

Tonite is “Vlad” and its probably one of the best. And there’s some VERY interesting conversation between Vlad and Kai over his “Motivations” =)

Vlad is Monday. At least that’s what the schedule said.

As I have said before, the dead do not… do anything they don’t want to do any time they don’t want to do it. It seems to me that the dead spend a lot of time justifing their actions or lack thereof. I think that the dead can be quite motivated when they want to be. Witness Kai’s apparent revenge wish when Tina was killed. Why was he motivated in that particular situation? Perhaps because annoying or not, she did get him the information that he needed on Vlad.

Quite right. I forgot they only show it Mon-Thur.

Hehe, good way of putting it. I’d go a bit futher and actually suggest Kai ‘cared’ in some situations. Terminal being the starting point, at Zev’s death Kai’s voice was either breaking from the strain of bending over, or he was actually touched by something. And his cryptic comment about ‘Bringing Zev home’. Going through to Walpurgis Kai making Stanley a Moth whistle *most likely* because Kai felt his destruction was near. Then again it could’ve been an episode tool(and was).

As for “Vlad”-hint-hint- I dont want to spoil it, but lets just say something much like Kai(see episode title) will notice that he cares just a little too much about his crew.
