okay guys, just saw the 3.10 lexx, still filler but starting to have something you can sink your teeth into…and a cliff (or dune?)hanger at the end too! how about 790’s poetry to kai…er…dead dark and delicious, any idea what the last line of the poem was, that rhymed with sick
cover your ears dalek tek !anyway my interest is piqued again, what did you guys think?BAH!

~~~Rustam~~~ “Help me, Lexx is eating my brain!”~~~~Well, I thought this episode was just dandy! I thought it was extremely beautiful, what with the desert and the astrolabes and sextants and the peaceful floating through the sky (even though it was titled “Battle”). A very unworldly atmosphere was invoked, put me in mind of Sting’s videos on MTV a few years back of “The Summoner’s Tale”, and a little of “Synchronicity”. I was pleased to see some action on Kai’s part after he spent the last episode buried in a flowerbed. Oh, and I may have converted Mr. Salinqmind into a Lexx viewer, he watched “Battle” with me last night and was very impressed. (As my better half has Stanley Tweedle-ish leanings, however, I suspect the eyeful he got of Xev in the Lexx’ shower last week is what’s really sparked his interest!)
I just wish they’d give poor Lexx some food and get the hell out of there. Fire and water have been getting boring with no shlemmi or Bunny or Mantrid. No 790 or Lexx for that matter.

i am still chuckling over 790’s limericks, just went over to sad’s episode review of Battle to read them again…yeah, i am getting antsy but i did think this episode was visually stunning and kai is back in gear as is Stan but i do really miss Mantrid…my mind is definitely soaked by too much time in the gutter with rustam and blackie but i am starting to find mantrid quite appealing in a deliciously twisted way

Yeah Buddy, move it frame by and look real “hard” as Mantrid slides down the dead sex objects body and you can see the COD coming up off our hero’s loins! That was as sensual a scene as it was disturbing. I am very jealous of Mantrid!
I enjoyed Battle. The scenery was magnificent. I’m fond of wide open spaces like deserts, mountain meadows and the oceans. I love the sea!It was a pleasure to see Kai in action. Poor MM spends so darn much time on ice it was wonderful to watch those fluid motions. Graceful like a black leopard on the hunt. yumm

yeah, i was noticing how they seem rather withered and not very buoyant…they seem rather like (I hate to say this but) somewhat withered portions of male anatomy…but with an odd number…and they do not seem to have the right sharpness somehow…they always seem too blurry and sepia toned, there should be some differences to give the illusion of depth…
I suppose what it comes down to is the amount of CG in the episode… for example ‘End of the Universe’ involved a lot of CGI and some of it wasn’t all that hot. Some of the compositing comes off badly too, such as Kai dropping from the Lexx in ‘Fire and Water’, and the men falling from the Gondola in ‘May’.
