I have to say, I was a little disappointed in this latest JMS offering. The acting was adequate and the CGI has promise, but there was nothing new or fresh about the story. The most intriguing bit was the weapons officer (or whatever she was) hanging in a holographic projection “outside” the ship to guide her weapons fire. It’s an interesting idea, but she lost me when she starting flinging fire balls from both hands and feet to take out a gazillion floating mines.

Maybe I was just expecting too much?
