Wow, it’s times like this I am soooo sorry I maxed out my credit cards for Christmas!! My guess would be a grand or grand and a half….. I have bid on other Lexx items and thought I had a shot and then at the end some “got rocks” totally outbids everybody!!!
If you scroll all the way to the bottom there are pix of MM wearing this costume… not many guys could wear this and pull it off but MM looks great!!! You can also see Xenia in one pix in the background.
If it were red, he’d make a great CUPID! 😀

Oh I am pretty sure there were unders. I am certain that you would not have gotten Jeff P. (Fifi) to sit against the side of the gondola so close to MMM Twack while he crouched upon the ledge, had there been no underware present! But while studio’s provide many things, I am also pretty that * IF * they had provided breifs for this shot, they did not ask for them back. 😀

MM’s so hot in that outfit, woooooohoooooooo; I have limited income, but if I could afford I would get it in a heartbeat; then, I’d wear it around Dragon*Con. May be, with HDS’s help, I can make something similiar to that; it looks simple enough to do.

Seriously though, I’m still thinking it will go for over $1,000. It’s a costume from a leading character in a very memorable role….I still may “take another shot” and make one bid, if I win I’ll get the money somewhere, maybe sell some blood or something…. 😉

Gosh! There is no way that I am going to buy this little tunic but Wow! I wish I could buy it– then I would make my hubby wear it– hee hee.
RE: undergarments– ages ago Jacha posted a comment on the lexx.com board about the undies in the Gondola ep with live Kai being visible at certain times. At first I thought–humph the stuff they show in England really is different! Bcause I never saw anything. But if you view the dvd in slo-mo (this is an embarassing confession on my part) you can definitely see the underwear when Kai sits! So there is underwear– and M.M. has no idea how to sit in a mini skirt!

If I remember right, the brace even went for more than Spock’s ears did that week.

Thodin’s costume sold for around $350. HDS costume (which I have) sold for $1000. Younger Brunnen G costume (which I have)sold for $250, 790 head (which I have) sold for $1400.Trini! think such things! 😉 Frey also was trying to get Sarah to put me in Kai’s blue dress. I am way to modest to ware something like that. But thanks for the comp. 😉
I could buy that Kai costume but need to keep some money for Megacon. We’ll see 😉

I don’t actually remember the jeans (maybe they’ll be in the uncut DVD ❓ ) but figdress has a nice behind the scenes picture up.

kai… erm, mcmanus wears a 32 inch waist?! frey help me out here, brian was/is really thin, and mcmanus borders on anorexic, i would have said 30 inch waist… the t shirt would have been good in my punkette days but 200 bucks still seems steep for nondesigner jeans and a messy t shirt even if mcmanus did wear them…all right, the economy is officially in the toilet…:D

Talk about being hard to find!!! Now granted, people have various leg/torso configurations. But I do know theUglyBrother has a long torso due to and extra vertebra.

He is absolutely no fun sometimes. 😥I could tell MM was in the 5 range, and seams to be shorter then Brian. Tv has a way of making people look taller, trick angles etc..

i think the estimates of mm’s height came from shorter people 😀
as far as neo goes, if you mean keanu, he was taller than i am, and i am taller than mcmanus so i think kiwi is about 6 or 6’1″ (when you are abnormally tall you spend a lot of time worrying about other people’s heights ) 😆
Well, this is all very interesting. I agree that this outfit doesn’t appear in the tv show as seen by me. Maybe it’s what live kai is wearing when he gets devoured by Xev?
It’s interesting that you saw that B.Downey is taller than M.McManus– because on the show it looks the other way around! Although they seem pretty close in height, maybe it’s the big hair that has me confused. I also noticed that the boots he wears as Kai have no heel at all, and Xenia is always wearing these tremendous heels. I figured they were trying to even out a really big difference
in height. I guess she is very petite.They shot about a zillion hours of footage for this ep according to the Director. Perhaps this is from a part that got snipped? Like that little snipplet of Actor/Kai crawling though the mud that we saw on the tv in the oval office before Prince pre-empted the tv.
on height: My husband is 6’3″ and his father is 6’7″ but they have the same inseam… 32. The length of the legs don’t always determine the height.
I gotta know… is that actual tomato product on the clothes? Or is it paint/faked stains?

and as far as inseams go, yeah, people’s legs vary tremendously in relation to their overall height, and in general, men have longer torsos than women do
trini, cute nick for your hubby! i am 5’10 and a half or 5’11”, depending on who measures me,and my inseam is 36″, since like most women, my legs are longer than my body…i saw keanu at a club in virginia when he was playing with his band…and who cares if we go o/t, someone will redirect us 😉
xenia is relatively tall, but she is always in those incredible heels, however brian was the real surprise; i simply didn’t expect him to be that tall or that thin….anyway, the funniest thing was prince’s costume (the pale blue coat/pants/shirt from season 3)…sadgeezer is a way slim and tall guy, but the costume was a good fit on him (he modelled it for me last summer one drunken evening)…i just want to see one of the fans in the various kai costumes 😀 i am sure there are plenty of guys out there who will do justice to these venerable outfits 8)
Figdress’ description says the clothes are “artificially dirtied” though I don’t know what “artificial” dirt is. 🙄
