Having just aquired my first Lexx episodes from Acorn Video and seeing Michael McManus interviewed as himself and having now “cleaned” myself up of drool and wiped the lip marks off the t.v. set I have to say this…
I pretty sure MM does not have any children that we know of…..It is his obligation, no, it’s his DUTY to pass on his genetic perfection to a male offspring… It should be the right of our daughters and possibly granddaughers to have another generation of McManliness to lust after. Another set of perfect lips, thick hair and deep brown eyes. It’s good for the mind to fantasize, very stimulating to the glands and also is very good at reliving stress. The next generation should’nt be so deprived.. So I beg Mr. McManus, go forth and mutiply….. You owe it to womenkind!! [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

Squishy purrs at being petted by nice ladies!!!
Kai kinda reminds me of a futuristic Clint Eastwood, he’s got that menancing glance and steely eyes, that tells you straight away he means business.
I can see the appeal, and think he’s not your average handsome Hollywood type, I think he’s more down to earth that the likes of Brad Pitt or Leonardo Di Caprio.
Did you all fancy him from day one, or was it a progressive thing???

My eyes popped outa my head and cavorted about on the floor with my tongue, while my brain screeeeched to a halt. All other heartthrobs just faded into the wallpaper (except for one special cute & cuddly cluster lizard). Before long, of course, I was completely Lexxerized – Kai was just *bait*. [/i]

i liked kai from the get go as sort of (forgive me for saying this) spock meets john waters…mm grew on me more gradually, (mostly his nose,then the lips) because when i first saw him ‘out of kai’, he looked to me like my exhusband, with dark hair rather than red [img]images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img]…but i am with you squish, he’s more of a presence with an odd appeal, rather than a brad pitt poster puppy…

Squishy: It was Wake the Dead that got me. What can I say? I like the bits where we get to see some facial expressions, along with a few giggles. The obsession has calmed down quite a bit, but it rears it’s ugly head with interest now and then. I only drool on the rare ocassion. *drool* SEE?

That’s very well put, and speaks for me too.
Well, Kai sorta grew on me slowly, (oh, if that were only true!!) anyway, I am not a woman who ever really cared about a person’s
looks, in fact I was always attracted to the “nerdy”, pocket protector types because they are usually animals when they stop all that repression…in fact I married one…I find intelligence far sexier than bigs pecs and flat abs…But that all when out the window when I got hooked on Kai, he is a total sexual object for me and I don’t give a whit if he can add 2 and 2 together.. I just want him bathed and brought to my tent!!! I want to use him for my own sexual satifaction and put him back in the cryopod for future use..!!! There, I’ve said it…!! Squishy promises to behave, Squishy learnt his lesson the last time he was someone’s house guest, the cat was just resting between Squishy’s fangs…honest (Squishy say’s with sorry frown on his face).
You won’t hear a sqeak from Squishy until dinner time or when Lexx is on, at which point Squishy will curl up in front of T.V like a good cluster lizard!!!

The first inkling of Lexx I ever got was a commercial on SciFi that had the scene from Wake the Dead where Kai’s all crazy and singing the Brunnen-G song…I got shivers all up my spine and I just had to figure out who he was, what the show was, etc. And then I got used to the calm, stoic, Spock-like Kai we all know and love, but I still remeber what a sexy psycho he made…
