Michael McManus who played Kai on the Lexx series has agreed to come to the Timeless Destinations 2006 Con. in Vancouver, BC. next August. This is Michael’s first convention. This make 22 guests, actors, directors, etc. committed to come to TD2006.

Word is he will be back in Canada this fall and they will get an apperance contract then.

It’s right up my alley! Ellen is my favourite Lexx actress and Michael my favourite Lexx actor.
Still, I won’t be buying my ticket until very close to the convention date. 😉

You do what I do in buying a ticket for conventions & such; if you do go, please take plenty of pics.
I do hope Michael does show up at this convention; may be he’s trying to make it up for the fans.

If you are one of the highest bidders, you can win a chance to kiss Michael or kiss Ellen as well as the chance to be one of their assistants. Oh and I found out that they have guaranteed that the kiss is not a peck on the cheek.

Actually, if you read the TD website more carefully, you’ll see that the auction is to be Micheal McManus’s assistant during the boat cruise, and that no kiss from MM is being auctioned.
This convention sounds like it is going to be really fun for the people going– remember to take lots of pics for the rest of us!!
Lots of people went, but not sure if anyone from here did. Apparently one of the major Russian sites was offered a lot of exclusive stuff from that year, but I understand there were conditions and things attached, so we may or may not see that. Ah well. Perhaps he will join Xenia in Orlando this February.

Plenty of pictures were taken by Angel, CheshireCat, Jerhume, Goblin and Veyron. They are up at http://www.Michael-McManus.com for all to see. Some video interviews were taken by Chatins but sadly his camera malfunctioned so that’s up in the air, maybe we’ll get to see and maybe not, it’s up to him. Meantime enjoy the pictures Maya has so generously put up on her site.
Yes dear Lexxians there will be another Con that our dearly beloved cast will be attending. Brian Downey, Xenia Seeburg and Michael McManus have signed on to attend Megacon.

Here’s a tidbit to tidy you over..Brian Downey is busy in a movie working with Nigel Bennett! That’s it boys keep busy giving us more and more of your talents that we so enjoy watching!

If you go there, make sure you check out Vito’s Chop House which is beside the Castle Double Tree Hotel. It was very nice. I was seated with an entire table full of male Lexxians and I don’t think I have ever seen such blissful expressions in my life. They were in protein heaven. 😀 http://www.vitoschophouse.com/
