Everyone here has a net alias, so i thought it would be interesting to see where they all came from, why did you pick that as your net name sort a thing.
Me?
Well my last name is Hunt and the Jabba bit is a reference to my wieght, which i may add is reducing since i started riding my bike everyday.

Mine was a radio alias before I ever used the net. I hosted a radio show in college, and used the name Aleck. Why? The show delved frequently into topics like the occult and conspiriacy theory, and I chose Aleck as a reference to Lee Harvey Oswald’s alleged alias (Alec Hidell) and used the “ck” spelling as a reference to Aleister Crowley’s unique spelling of the word “magick.” The “smart aleck” thing didn’t hit me until the second time I did the show, and it was pointed out to me. People at college knew me through the radio station, and the name stuck.

Mine is actually an old nickname. I got dubbed the elfkin in high school by a good friend of mine. It stemmed from two things 1) my love of Tolkien and 2) the fact that I’m very short. It stuck, and elfkin I have been ever since.
Well, my name is more like a eh, …childish thing!
I played a demo of a PC game caled “CRUSADER: NO REGRETS”! (A secuel to the first game caled “CRUSADER:NO REMORSE”!) It was in the future where a company roouled over the hole world! They where wherey cruwel! Like if a city was against them they destroyed it! Anyway, It was about a eliate soldier that worked for the company! Well, the company wonted the som “Silancers” (Thats what the eliate soldiers is caled) to kill a bounsh of civiliens just in case there would be som rebels amouns them! The silancers refused and the company killed them al exept one!!!
The surviver joind the rebels to stop the company!
The game continues where the first one ended! You are playing the silancer in a sky wiue (Like you where whatchning it from the sky! Its a game where you kill manny soldiers (With the most horroble guns) and are looking for keys, doors, computers to help you mission! (The rebels are sending you on missions)
Its dificult to explain it but the games are great! The storry makes it like an tv series! (Like Robocop, almoust)
Sorry for going on and on about the game! I cant stop typing!!! Thats my problem!Well, I loved that game when I played it 1996 (And still doe) so I started to use the “crusader” name in outher games where you should type in your name! The name started to bekom me!!! And when I for the first time came in contact with internet (4 years agow) I started to use it in chats and as e-mail names aso.! Some peapol even cal me crusader!
When ever I can I use it so if you meat someone on the internet caled crusader its probobly me!!!In short I liked the game and the name! Í bekame the crusader and now I love it and cant imandgen my kife with out it!!!
Its just me!

That’s a great game! I still have the first one but it doesnt run on my new computer. It’s really something different from all those first person shooters. Those Vetrons (2-legged robots) were pretty scary eh! I figured that’s where your name came from!

Well, I’m not even sure how to pronounce mine (I think the ‘p’ is silent, but adds accent). I came up with it when trying to come up with a name for a barbarian warrior in computer RPG’s. I used it in Ultima Online, so I’ve used it as an all round web alias since. I’m not called it in real life, just on the net. Which is a good thing, since I only need to type it, not actually say it! Tolandria is the name of one of my characters. My friend was trying to get me to go on a chat room one night and I couldn’t think of a name and since she always thought Tolandria was neat she suggested it. I’ve used it for pretty much everything since.

My real name is Caitlin which is a derivation of Cathleen which is a derivation of Catherine (stay with me here, kids), and Catalina is the Italian/Spanish version of Catherine. I always thought it was a cool name and used it in a story for a character who was basically me but cooler (all the things I like about myself, none of the things I don’t) and eventually started using it for e-mail, instant message, chatrooms, etc. Basically Catalina, my alter-ego, is Caitlin but smarter, prettier and has kick-ass martial arts skills.is she fit?

The part that its difrent from outher games is way I love that game!!! The storry is great and the drafic! The moves to! (In NO REGRETS he can role forwerd to)

I am the crusadermy nickname comes from my reverence for old style (and low budget!) special effects, especially in splatter movies…tom savini is still a hero, as is stan winston(not so low budget!) and rick baker… i am an (often) frustrated artist (especially since nowadays my ‘medium’ is living tissue) thus my love of well-executed special effects…

Curupira is actually a little spirit dude who’s protector of the rain forests and everything in it (except people) Curupira’s feet are backwards, and when humans come too far into the rainforest, he turns their feet backwards too. That’s so they have to walk in circles for the rest of their lives and they can never find their way home. Kind of a punishment for going into Curupira’s forest. My name comes from the awful misspelling of the name of my favourite toy as a child. I used it a few years ago in a roleplaying game as the name of my character and it stuck…..I use other net aliases based on old characters to:
Dragon5: This was the callsign I gave a fighter pilot character (I took it from a game called x-com interceptor).
Dirk Powers: A random name coming from a quick scan of my book and video shelves (The Dirk came from the Douglas Adams Dirk Gently novels, the powers from Austin Powers…groovy!)

To get back to the topic- I use my chinese birth sign the monkey, my life partner is Horse, and he lives up to that name!
