The remaining four eps in season 3 will start airing on SciFi (in the US) on Fridays beginning April 5th. The new season 4 eps are expected to begin airing in June.
How come Sci-Fi channel are showing them so late.
If I remember correctly, they started showing Season 3 a few months before the BBC did, and we are on the last episode, its on thursday.Alas. No one can say why SciFi chose to delay airing the last four eps of S3 until April. It has been theorized that SciFi wants to build up into S4, but may want to keep the show out of May, which is sweeps month on regular network TV in the U.S. SciFi has also obtained Stargate, which will apparently be paired with FS on Fridays, during SciFi’s regular summer season. Perhaps they didn’t want to give the fans such a long hiatus between the end of January all the way until June. (See there, it’s for Our Own Good.)
It is unlikely that anyone on earth will be airing S4 eps earlier than June, since S4 filming has only just begun, and it takes several months to get each ep through post-production and “in the can”.
