meeting Ayrton (Mike Flurie) at UnCon 2001, or know him from the Scifi bboard, I wanted to let you know that he is having major surgery on Tuesday, Nov. 27th. It’s fairly serious but, we presume to hope, not life-threatening. Ayrton’s one of the Good Ones, so I hope you’ll all take a moment over the holiday to wish him well.
I have never had the good fortune to meet Ayrton but he has my wishes for a sucessful surgery and complete recovery…..Do you have an address or anything where people can send him a card?….I like to send cards…
Ayr! Oye ai, I love the lad. An imp of fame with a heart of gold! Please, please let the surgery be fast, easy, and complication-free! Love to you Aryton, I wish you well. Get on your ‘puter as soon as you can! I’ll be praying for your speedy recovery.
