Actually, I believe it was Paul Donovan who expressed the idea that S4 would be the last of Lexx on TV, though I don’t think anything has been set in stone.

GuestDudes, face the facts, Lexx will be no-more after Series 4, get on with life, you’ll still have the DVDs to look back on.

GuestIt’s typical, Lexx is starting to grow as a worldwide phenonemon, and what happens they talk of pulling the plug.
I would have said fair enough if Lexx had done a six season stint, but Lexx can go much further.
If it does end, then we can all look forward the boring mainstream crap such as Roswell.
I think in years to come it will do a star trek if it goes into syndication, and come back as a new version.
I hope Paul Donovan, Jeffrey Hirschfield and Lex Gigeroff will at least consider a T.V movie once in a while…better still, Lexx at the cinema.——————

GuestIt depend’s on how season 4 ends, in my opinion. Having not seen the first episode, being in the u.k, I don’t know the tone of the series. If it reaches up to a big climax which really seems to conclude everything, then it being the last series can only be a good thing. Of course you people across the pond will know if this is the case before I do.

GuestGood point…If season 4 wraps it all up then I could live without another series…They should only make a fith season if they have a really good story to tell. Making one just because season 4 is financally (spelling?) successful would be stupid and I couldn’t see Paul being involved….Paul said in a TV Zone interview (when he was discussing the possiblity of season 4)
“But they may say to us ‘the show can go on, but we have to make it work for our audience’, which means sanitize it. And if that happens, we would say ‘We have no problem with that’. But I, personally, would end my involvement and it would just become a financial deal”
I wouldn’t like to see that kind of situation arising over a possible season 5…

ParticipantAnother idea, would be to put up a Lexx info both at the next SciFi con to roll through your town. I know that there is a list of SciFi Cons across the country, but I haven’t found it yet.
