I just can’t seem to find a decent host! This one only took a week to totally piss me off! The server went down and put up a stupid ‘user over bandwidth limit’ page to stop users from accessing the site. The first I heard of it was when FX kindly telephoned me.
I don’t know what’s happened yet. I’ll report their explanation here as soon as I know.
You guys must be crossing your fingers every time you visit the site (I know I am!)…i was so sorry to be the harbinger of bad news on your peaceful sunday, but it was good to talk to you guys ;)…here’s keeping the fingers crossed that we get a few weeks of peace and quiet, especially after all the hard work you and katey have put in already…
Just recieved this from the ISP. Not a full explanation by any means, but I guess it’s a start.
… there was a server malfunction that was fixed early today. During spring break, we did not have enough staff available, which we obviously know now, and when the problem aroused, we were unable to fix it immediatly. We will try to prevent this from happening again, sorry about it.

I was like eekkkk! when I saw it. And I have to admit, that was the first time I had ever seen a bandwidth error on your site… it was like wtf??!?

As noticed by many of our visitors & clients, customers on the server recieved a 4 day downtime. We are sorry for the huge inconvenience this may have provided you however we have fixed the problem. For thoes of you wondering what it was, the /usr portion of the server filled up which caused a lot of the system services to freeze. It made CPanel, MySQL, etc. unaccessable.

Dear Sadgeezer,
As requested, an explanation was provided on the forums via multiple threads explaining what has happened and the solution.
In summary, the daily backups we made for every site to increase their security in the event that they lost their files, quickly ran amok on the server which your website sadgeezer.com and 3 other websites share. Aproximately 4 websites experienced technical difficulties over the weekend resulting in the bandwidth skyrocket as the entire system became confused.
Server technicians were finally able to isolate the problem and resolve it. All stats should be back to normal and further occurances of this occuring should not happen again. I apologize on behalf of Double Host for what has occured and thank you for your patience and support you showed during the weekend downtime.

Also, I know at least one actress that I personally spoke with (who shall go namless)[/url] who was really “freaked out” and bothered by “erotic fan images” on the internet.
