One of my all time favorite writers was Will Cuppy (The Decline and Fall of Practically Everybody) and he was famous for his Pitty, snippy, obervational footnotes. Infact often they were the best part of the piece.
Anyho. Therefore I was not surprised the other day when I found my self listening to a song and adding my own little mental footnotes, and I got to wondering how many other people might do it.
